The Weekly Chase

Weekend time!!  This will have to be the days that I post my goals for the week!  Molly and Mindy have put this fabulous group together to help each of us achieve our weekly goals.  Such wonderfully supportive friends to have!!  It is completely based on S.M.A.R.T goals (as it really should be!).  This stands for specific, measurable, attainable, realistic and timely!  Smart girls to say the least!  So once a week I will be deciding on a few goals to reach for.  With Disney's Marathon Weekend coming up next week my goals will be marathon related!



#1  Drink at least 3 16oz bottles of water while at work a day
#2  Run 2 times this week
#3  Pack early!!!  I really don't want to worry about packing on Friday when I get off of work!



With Goal #3 in mind I went and visited my favorite Running store!  SoleRunners!!!
Jaime, Ernie and Frankie are the bomb! 
If I ever need anything running related I go there.  Encouragement and high fives are free and always well stocked
Wednesday's and Saturday's they host Kendall Run Club and have such an impressive following here in Kendall!  

While I was there I picked up my favorite socks
I have my Spibelt ready!  I will be sporting a black belt this run (I usually run with a red with white polka dot belt like Minnie Mouse's dress!). I have my Asics ready!
Now I just need to decide what I'm wearing and how to do my hair!
So I'm already halfway to completing goal #3!!!!

New Years Resolutions 2013...

Time for New Years Resolutions. I'm not so good at this.  I do have a few I want to try out.  
I'm new to blogging for myself, however, there is one blog I read every day.
She always has something great she has tried out or something encouraging on her blog.
Today she has some wonderful resolutions!

So with that said I am going to try out one of hers!

Resolution #1
It is 5 miles by the 5th of each month for 5 months!
Very cool and very motivating!


Resolution #2
Eat Healthier
With 4 classes this semester I'm not sure how well I will do but I am going to try to make better choices in what I eat.


I thought about doing more resolutions but the more I list the less I will want to stick to them so I will begin with this!  I am hoping to have at least 1 race a month and so far I am signed up for 4.

4.Run For Your Lives (this one is going to be the most fun as I will be in full Zombie makeup!)

Still on the look out for more but this is what I have paid for so far!
